When God said that we would be "new creatures in Christ", He meant it. I was a real hard case and I'm sure it took some major miracles to make me into a new creation.
A man that witnessed to me before I was saved felt I was a hopeless cause. He came with a friend for a home visit. They caught me at a bad time, just home from the bar. When he invited us to church I told him what I thought of church, Christians and God, in colorful language. I guess he figured even God couldn't soften my heart.
Wow! That man sure was surprised when I showed up in his church, two weeks later, and he learned that his pastor had led me to the Lord.
It just shows that God has a sense of humor.
